Questions

Do I need the model number?
It helps a lot. The manual, maintenance checklist and fixes are all specific to the model. You can type it in or snap the label, and you can add it later.
Where do the manuals come from?
GearHive searches the web for the owner's manual for your make and model and saves a copy with the item. You can also upload your own PDF.
Is the AI repair advice safe to follow?
Every answer starts with the safety steps, like unplugging, shutting off water or gas, or killing the breaker. It also tells you when a job is for a pro, for example sealed refrigerant systems, gas lines or electrical panels. Use your judgment, and call a pro when in doubt.
Can my family share one account?
Solo (free) and Individual are one login each. If the whole household wants their own logins, the Jobsite plan is $100/yr plus $10/yr for each extra login.
What does it cost?
Free for up to 5 items. Individual is $5/month or $39/year for up to 500 items. No card needed to start.
